Dr. Rachel Staples

Dr. Rachel Staples is a natural leader with a passion for cosmetic dentistry, facial rejuvenation, and enriching her patients’ lives with the benefit of her knowledge. Dr. Rachel Staples was appointed VP of the Victoria District Dental Society in 2000 and is well known in the Victoria community.  She has made several appearances on local television speaking on current dental health issues and has been featured as a dental consultant on CBC Radio One.

Dr. Frank Van Gyn

 Dr. Frank Van Gyn knows the transformative power that restorative dentistry can have on the quality of life his patients enjoy.  He has taken special interest in building his expertise in both restorative and neuromuscular dentistry over the years to be able to treat and heal the full range of oral heath problems that his patients may experience.  Dr. Van Gyn is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute, and has attained expert ability in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of dental conditions.


Dr. Sue Stakiw

 Dr. Sue Stakiw has special interest in restorative dentistry, due to the impact this specialty can have on her patients lives. She is also been designated a “preferred provider” for Invisalign invisible braces.  Dr. Stakiw has been a clinical instructor at McGill (and the University of Illinois) as well as received awards for her outstanding performance in her academic studies of Oral Medicine.

Dr. Sean Filan

Dr. Sean Filan is enthusiastic to be a part of the dynamic, warm and technologically innovative practice of Academy Dental.  It is important to Dr. Filan that he is able to assist patients in achieving their ideal smile and help them to leave the office feeling significantly better then when they came in.  In addition to his dental degree, Dr. Filan is a graduate of the Advanced Functional and Neuromuscular Dentistry program at LVI Global.

Dr. Sandeep Dhesi
