Cerec CAD/CAM Dentistry

Our practice has invested in the revolutionary Cerec system that uses digital technology to design, fabricate and fit a new crown, onlay or inlay that is a perfect match for you. Cerec is advanced CAD/CAM technology that allows us offer One-Visit Crowns.  We use a fiber-optic camera to take a digital impression of your tooth, and then a computer takes this information and guides a micro-milling machine that manufactures a perfect crown out of material that matches the color of your existing teeth.  This technology lets us complete crown fabrication in-office in less than one hour – so you won’t need to wear a temporary crown between your first impression appointment and your crown delivery appointment.

Invisalign Invisible Braces

Academy Dental is proud to offer Invisalign, a revolutionary technology for straightening your teeth and enhancing your smile.  Impressions of your teeth are converted into a 3-D digital image so that your Academy Dental expert can accurately and effectively design your new smile with computer software.  These digital images are used to prepare a series of invisible Aligner trays that are custom to your treatment outcome.  Invisalign Aligners reposition your teeth over time without metal wires, brackets or bands – which makes them remarkably comfortable, and very practical.

Digital Diagnosis

You need to understand the condition of your mouth, as well as our recommendations for treatment.  With Digital Radiography, your Academy Dental expert uses state of the art digital diagnosis to view your dental structure.  This way we can instantly view and enlarge images to help detect problems more easily.  Digital radiography helps us help you, by reducing your exposure to radiation by 80-90% compared to traditional dental X-rays.

CO2 Laser for Facial Rejuvenation

Academy Spa CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing utilizes the Affirm Anti-Aging Workstation.  Affirm incorporates MultiPlex™ technology with our Combined Apex Pulses (CAP) technology – the industry’s fastest laser-based energy source – and Xenon Pulsed Light (XPL) technology into one compact workstation.   The result? A complete skin rejuvenation workstation that provides better and faster results with less pain than any other available product.
